Neha is a BPS Chartered and HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist. She has worked in Mental Health settings for over 12 years treating clients as young as 13 and adults as old as 91 years old.

Neha has trained in different therapeutic modalities such as Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Rewind Technique for Trauma. She integrates these approaches to work around the clients’ presentation and goals. She has experience of working with different presentations such as depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, substance misuse, eating difficulties, bereavement, body image issues, OCD, hearing difficulties like tinnitus and hyperacusis, chronic pain and fatigue, low self-esteem and confidence, and so on. She has significant experience of managing high risk presentations.

Neha extends a warm, empathic, supportive, non-judgemental, and engaging approach to therapy. She likes to explore her client’s difficulty in depth so both can develop a better understanding of the difficulties or challenges experienced. Neha offers a safe place for clients to disperse their pent-up feelings. Depending on what clients want from therapy, she helps clients identify small changes they can make to find a way forward, or helps them find new ways of coping if they have resorted to unhelpful coping strategies previously. Equally, Neha recognises that one cannot change their past experiences, so she tries to help clients to look at their lives from a different perspective. Also, where appropriate, she helps clients to accept things as they are in the here-and-now.

Neha is bi-lingual and can speak in English and Hindi. She takes a keen interest in working with clients from different backgrounds and respects cultural diversity.

Insurances she works with: AXA, Aviva, Vitality, CIGNA, Simply Health, WPA and others.
